LTI

yesterday at my internship braunz has helped me to finish part of my LTI script he has typed in some of the work he does as an HIV cordinater. mike has also helped me in my script for the game we spend must of the time prepareing me for that part of my exhibition. mike and i had got me confused for a while but he has clearify the game so now we had figure out the name it will be called 3 corners. the way it would be set up would be in one corner there would be a sign that would say racism and the other one is sexism and the 3rd corner would be ableism. the point is to put the notecards in it right place in the type once they get that right i would ask them the level. mike has really helped me to finish my game for exhibition. that is what i have done in my internship yesterday.

exhibition week

ever since my first exhibition i have been working harder to improve my exhibition skills such as working on my writing skills like academic language and working on a thesis for my essay. writing an essay wasnt as hard because it was broken down in parts.braking it down made it easier for me to fully understand what i had to write about and i wouldnt worry about thinking to much of the other things that are goin on the essay.

internships

at metwest internships are great for a young teen because it helps them understand what they want in life and it wont take up half of there lifes. metwest has helped me understand what i want to do when i grow up by going out to the world and doing things that i like to help me gain more skills to be in life. there are many people that would help so young teenagers could find what they are looking for in life.

Advisory

Advisory is going good for me because i have been cool with my advisor young whan. young whan has been one of my best teachers or advisors that i had because he has prepared me more then any teacher i had also he could be cool to talk to. young whan also pushes me to do my best because he knows how much my highest quality work is and he is pushing me above my expectations.

LTI

now it is almost exhibition week and for some reason i feel unprepare but im haveing some good ideas. for this exhibition im for some reason excited at the same time because of the ice skateing trip that the school is going to have.

LTI meeting

today at my internship at heppac young when, my mentor(braunz) and i had a meeting of how i was doing at my internship and how much i was connecting with with but ever sice i been at heppac braunz has tought me many things must of the skills i had learned was how to multi task that was a big help for me. multitasking is really helpful at school and at home. i have also learned how to do things fast and carefully at the same time. heppac is a good place for an internship because it teaches u many things and are very friendly. well that about it that i could remember hahaha.

LTI

prompts:what made you most excited about the place?

the place I'm trying to go do an internship is la casa segura. the safe house is a an exciting place to intern at because there so much to do but on Thursday it was different. in Thursday i didn't have anything to do but was it was time for the exchange there was many thing to do at the exchange. on Thursday i had to serve the food to the people its was good because it was a normal speed.so i guess the most exciting part about the safe house is that there are also many people that are funny and care about your problems or if u are sick they give u some medicen.

LTI shadow day:La Casa Segura

On the 9th i went to my shawdow day at la casa segura where i met my mentor braunz. braunz is very busy at la casa segura also moves around a lot lol. my first task he tought me is how to multitask around la casa segura. he introduced me to the people that worked at la casa segura. braunz told me i had to always be doing something at la casa segura because theres all ways something to do at the site. he showed me the equipment i had to work with and had to be careful with as well. after a few hours braunz and i went to get lunch. after that we had to get ready for the exchange which was at 98th. at the exchange we had to set up tables were we where going to put the supplies. after every thing was ready people started to show up at the exchange. at the exchange we have supplies such as condoms,needles,hygiene kit, wound kit etc. multitasking is needed to be at the exchange because u go place to place u also gots to be fast as well. when the exchange got slow peole started to joke around which was really funny mike,braunz, and willy are funny when they are together. after the exchange we had to pack everything up into the van. my experiences at la casa segura and the exchange where really great specially because people are funny and u could be your self around them. other then that learning how to multitask is fun when your arounf braunz lol. i feel that at La Casa Segura is goin to be a great place to do an internship and also learn many things.
